National Priorities and Industry Linkage Fund (NPILF) will allocate block grants to universities to support enhanced engagement with universities and industry to produce job-ready graduates. ACGR has urged government to recognise that graduate programs can deliver industry connections and job ready graduates and should be supported by the new NPILF.
The ACGR response to NPILF Consultation Paper to the current consultation paper has emphasised the variety of end user engagement already undertaken by research students and the breadth of career outcomes and contributions that graduate researchers make to Australia’s economy.
