At the end of September, Professor Sue Berners-Price will retire from her role as Dean of the Griffith Graduate Research School which she has held since 2012.
During this time Sue has not only transformed graduate research training at Griffith and created a very successful Graduate Research School, she has made a huge difference as a member of ACGR and our National Convenor in 2018 and 2019. Sue’s leadership of the ACGR response to the ACOLA Review was inspiring and her work in the development of ACGR Guidelines for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Research Education was a major achievement for our sector.
On behalf of all ACGR members, we thank Sue her friendship, enthusiasm and pure hard work and wish her well as she takes some well- deserved leave until the end of the year. After that she’ll continue her research in the Institute of Glycomics.
