Meeting 1, 2025

2025 - April • Tasmania, University of Tasmania

ACGR welcomed colleagues to our first national meeting of 2025 on Monday 28 and Tuesday 29 April 2025. Co-hosted by the University of Tasmania, this immersive two-day meeting was held at the University of Tasmania Sandy Bay Campus.

Key topics of discussion at this meeting included:

  • Supervisor training and professional development
  • Approaches to fostering industry engagement
  • Psychosocial safety prevention and responses
  • AI literacy in the context of graduate research
  • Approaches to HDR complaints resolution
  • Selecting HDR candidates

The full program from the event is available here.

We were delighted to see members for two days of connection, empowerment and learning. The conference was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen support networks amongst peers, hear the latest news and updates from the world of graduate research, and spend valuable time with key network groups and special interest groups.
