As members will be aware, ACGR has actively engaged with DESE on the National Industry PhD Program Guidelines development process. In response to consolidated feedback and comments submitted by ACGR and member institutions, the Department has provided updated versions of the draft guidelines and is now seeking direct feedback.
Further detail on the revised documents and the consultation process (which closes 5 October) is outlined below. We encourage members to review the revised documents and provide feedback directly to the Department (via ) as appropriate.
We also draw your attention to the recent release of new TEQSA Research and Research Training Guidance notes. Crossing checking the final version against the ACGR response submitted during the consultation process reveals that 9 of our 12 recommendations have been adopted.
