CSIRO’s Industry PhD is one of the three Industry PhD programs being delivered as part of the Australian Government’s support to grown university research commercialisation.
Through this particular program, candidates undertake research on a problem developed in collaboration with and jointly supervised by an industry partner, a university researcher and a CSIRO researcher. As well as completing their PhD project, the candidate undertakes a six month internship with their industry partner. Each Industry PhD candidate receives a fully funded government scholarship, an industry funded top-up and project operating expenses.
Applications for the first round of the CSIRO Industry PhD program are now open, closing in early September.
