It is with regret that the ACGR Executive Committee advise that after very careful consideration of the unfolding health crisis in Australia and beyond, our one day ACGR meeting scheduled for April 20 in Adelaide has been cancelled.
The ACGR Executive is confident that, despite the inconvenience, given the current advice from the government about public gatherings, university budgetary and travel restrictions and the Covid-related issues that colleagues are currently facing in both their work and personal lives, this is the most responsible decision.
ACGR will automatically refund the full cost of registrations to all those who have booked to attend our one day meeting (including the Eventbrite booking fee) – there is no need for you to request a refund.
The ACGR Executive Committee is currently considering other (potentially virtual) engagement opportunities that we may be able to facilitate for members in coming months. This may include a short video conference on 20th April – we will confirm this as soon as possible.
We hope that you understand and support this decision and look forward to our next national meeting later in the year, details of which will be confirmed after there is greater clarity about the spread and duration of this current situation.
