Dear colleagues,
It was a pleasure to welcome so many members to the ACGR National Meeting in Adelaide this month. Bringing colleagues together from across the sector to share ideas, challenges and opportunities in graduate research is always a highlight of the ACGR calendar, and the energy, generosity and expertise in the room made this gathering especially valuable. Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed to discussions and helped make the meeting such a success.
As we build on the momentum from Adelaide, there is plenty happening across the ACGR community. Registrations are now open for our upcoming webinar: What are you supervising for? We also encourage members to explore the ACGR National HDR Researcher Development Framework, review the newly released CAPA 2025 Impact Report, and access resources from the April National Meeting.
There are also exciting opportunities ahead, including the development of a new leadership program for senior professional leaders in research training, and nominations are now open for the 2026 ACGR Awards for Excellence. These awards continue to recognise and celebrate outstanding contributions to graduate research supervision, leadership, partnerships and support across our sector.
Finally, please be sure to save the date for our next ACGR National Meeting on 4–5 November in Brisbane, kindly hosted by the University of Queensland. We look forward to coming together again later this year.
Best regards,
Louise Sharpe, ACGR President
Tracy Sullivan, Executive Director
